    Default Barred owl in flight

Another image with Jim Neiger last week, Owl was attacked to the boat using Jim's call technique and his audio rig. This one was the last flight we got just before sunset, the Blue Cypress sunset landscape and light is just gorgeous!

Pretty spectacular! I'm running out of superlatives for you images, Arash.
Gorgeous light, details + nicely blurred and separated bg yet retains hint of the environment.
    Amazing work.

Hi Arash... I going to agree with Sidharth, your images are always superb.. and this is no exception. Maybe a little big in the frame for some but...

    Well done..

Excellent shot! It looks like the poor bird is too busy reposnding to calls so no time for preening as its feathers are in less than perfect condition...

Very nice frame Arash! That last afternoon was a great time; good looks at the YCNH, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Pileated Woodpecker, and of course the Barred Owl.

Awesome light Arash, and you have captured a great flying posture. Good detail all round, and the eye shows up nicely.

Loved the light in this one a lot. No-bill-merge is awesome...which must be difficult with owls. My personal preference would be to have the bird a tad to the right in the frame.

Lol maybe you cut and pasted this from another photo because it looks 3D!

Just kidding, fantastic image with excellent detail. Your IQ is always impressive!
