I have a very un-photogenic dog (he's got a sixth sense even when asleep, knows if I've got a camera and looks like the most unhappy creature in the world) so I decided to post a lighthouse I had taken last week in St. Augustine with my infrared camera. I used Nik and Topaz to get the look I wanted.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

Cheryl, that is really beautiful! Part of me wishes I could see a bit more of the lighthouse but then I love the trees so much I wouldn't want to take them away! I would add that if you have even a sliver more room on the bottom it would be great to see that main branch unclipped by the frame edge...but it's certainly not a deal breaker.

Cheryl, Love the look of this one. Jules makes a great suggestion regarding the sliver on the bottom. It might be cool to add a light to the lighthouse-very creative piece and i wish it were mine. Sorry I missed you in FL.

Really like the composition you created here, Cheryl! Like B&W and the soft effect you got with the trees. There is just enough detail to see the lighthouse, and like how some of the branches almost seem to be wrapping around the lighthouse, following the same line as the white spiral stripe. Good suggestions to explore, but very nicely done!

Excellent creative composition, Cheryl. Like Julie, I too wish for a bit more of the lighthouse; perhaps couple of feet to your left. The IR and Topaz effects of the leaves are just beautiful. Beautifully done.

This is a beautiful image, Cheryl. I love how the tree branches veil the lighthouse, and the IR look and topaz effect add a lot to the feel of the image. Very nicely done!
