    nice light and wing position, wish for more separation between heron and BG.

    I really like the wing position and nice sharp details.

    In hindsight and if possible getting lower may have helped reduce in focus bg and I think also provided a better "bird's eye" view.

    Equipment looks like a very nice hand holdable solution.

    You have a nice pose on the GBH here and nice light. I find the BG pretty distracting and the bird not particularly attractive. Would also have preferred the bird not flying away from you. That said, the exposure and sharpness look good.
