This is my second try at this House Wren and I think my best. He is building a nest in a wren house just outside my den window. In this image he had chased a Starling away which had come to close to the house. I would love al your coments as I learn and appreciate them all. Thanks ahead of time. Shooting data:

Hi, I think you were set up very nicely here with the shooting angle and the BG. I liked the perch as well. DOF is adequate. Very good placement of the subject. Nice soft light....lots of things to like in this one.

The Wren's head is turned a little too much for my liking. There is some motion blur in the head as well. Higher ISO would have been the right thing to do. If it suits you, you can clone the tiny twig that is peeking through in the LRC.

With the exception of the ha everything looks great with this one.

I am not sure if this is cropped or not, but wren could also be a bit smaller in frame.

I am sure you are planning more action with this wren.

    Well done.

The techs look very good, but I would like to see a wider crop (or the bird smaller in the frame) and a nicer head angle would have worked much better. The BG is very pleasing and you have a nice sharp bird.
