James"
Makes me think of a "where's Waldo puzzle"
The good DOF and sharp foreground birds makes this fly.
Well exposed, good use of flash. I did count 32 steel eyes from the flash, but they are so small they don't detract.
Pretty darn sharp at this shutter speed!
Is this a recent pic (D300)?
Cheers

Makes me think of Bosque Snow Geese. Pretty cool shot! In shots like this one, I normally like one bird that anchors the frame. No such bird exists in this image, but the birds are so dense and evenly distributed that I don't think it matters.
Upcoming Workshops: Bosque del Apache 2019, Ecuador 2020 (details coming soon)

This is fantastic! Very unique and impressive image! Love it.![]()
Graphic and interesting. Well seen, James. Bet this would be eye catching as a large print.
I love it. I agree with Grace that it would make an awesome large print. Hang it!
agree with Grace....perfect for a magazine centerfold.
stunning shot James. Angle is good on each and every bird. The red bills, legs and the black wing tips make it very very interesting. Thx for sharing.
What an amazing shot, James. I can't stop looking at it. Love the graphic quality. Reminds me of Escher a bit. Truly spectacular, the colors, the clarity, the dynamism. Fantastic!

This is super captain, love the flying see of the ibis the white and pink really work together nicely!

The slight blue cast (at least on my work monitor) really sets off the colors. Muy bonito. Wouldn't it be cool to have a single glossy or scarlet ibis in the mix?
