    Good looking parrot, and the vertical comp was the obvious choice to go with. Love the colours and sharpness.. I would have preferred more separation between subject and BG tree to help render it more OOF (sometimes you take what you can though)...as is the many white specks don't do much for me.

    A dandy looking bird.

    Very sharp and shows the detail very well.

    I really like the full on pose with head turn.

    Beautiful bird! It really pops out at you.
    The subject is also sharp and well exposed.

    I agree with Daniel, on the background. I find the vertical black line as big an issue as the white spots.
    More separation between subject and background is needed. A wider aperture wouldn't help that much at that focal length and distance.
