Default Help with ID (crow or raven perhaps, but with white on wing)

This shot was taken mid March 2010 on the south rim of the Grand Canyon.
It is more of a scenic shot, the bird is rather small.
But I have provided below the full size image on Flickr, so hopefully it is enough to ID this bird...maybe.

I would have assumed it is a crow or raven, but I am not sure why it would have the white on the wings.

Anyone have any ideas on what this might be?

    Regards,
    Colin

White feathers in corvids (ravens, crows, jays) are not an unusual occurrence in North America. I've seen one with a complete white wing stripe at the base of the flight feathers. If you do a search for "piebald crows", you'll see a number of sites that show odd crows that were taken by hunters.

    Dan, and Paul -
Thanks for the quick replies and the education about "corvids" & "leucism".

    Regards,
    Colin

PS: Beautiful place, the Grand Canyon. I have to go back again some day for a longer stay.
