Had a great time in St. Augustine, met a lot of photographers. It was a fun weekend!
Shot taken at Ft. Desoto on Easter weekend. This Reddish Egret was sitting on the shore resting. Shot a series of close up and caught this moment. Decided not to clone out the BG on top of the frame.

Awesome shot, Troy! Just the right amount of sharpness to my eye. Colors are fantastic, BG is sweet and I even like those slender blades of grass peeking out at the lower right. Gorgeous...

Excellent show of the tongue here, and I like the colours on these egrets.

Awesome pose, excellent sharpness, and a nice BG. Would have liked to have spent some time with you up there; maybe next year!

Troy, that is some serious plumage. Loved the pose, tongue and HA.....that combo is a low percentage shot. I am finding it a tad bright...pulled back by 1/6th or 1/3rd stop might make it better...'might' being the operative word :-)
