Lovely, lovely details and colors! The bud stands out nicely against the dark bg. I like how the greens and purples are in all parts of the flower. I'd like to see a bit more space on each side as it is just a bit too narrow for my tastes.

Hi Adrian. The comp may not be to everyone's taste, but I like the "bookmark" comp when the subject fits it - and this is one of those occasions for me. Excellent color and sharpness. My only minor comment is that there is a small white area on the left side of the plant that looks rather hot on my monitor - it would be easy to tone that down a bit. Well done.

    Hey Adrian,
Outstanding light and great subject.....but like Anita.....just a bit more room on the sides. Not much as I like them tight.....but a bit.

Hey Adrian, at first glance my thoughts were the same as Anita and Roman but after adding a sliver of space on each side in Photoshop, I think I prefer it as is. As soon as it was just a bit wider, the urge to see it presented as more of a diagonal came over me.
