Default Chicago Skyline from Buckingham Fountain

This is another vision of the prior image of the Chitown skyline. It was done to mimic a tapastry effect.

Modifications in CS4, DAP and Topaz included; DAP Illustrator, Selective Color; Brightness & Contrast; Brush Strokes; Texture; and Shadow & Highlight.

I used the DAP Portrait Dry Reveal mask to hold back the fountain area.

    Enjoy!

Beautiful composition, Mark. I like the canvas like texture. The DAP effect is nice too although I would have preferred a bit more emphasis on the water fountain. Nicely done.

Mark, If you didn't say what it was I would never of guessed it. I like the color palette. I might evict the two red areas at the top left edge if it were mine. Nice texture on this one.

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

This doesn't ... unfortunately ... look like the original modification. Guess the quality was lost in posting with the effect chosen. For some reason it looked better when I posted it yesterday. Maybe it was just a long day and my eyes were not seeing what was there. Will have to try a different one ... someday ... to see if it posts better.
