nice details, good head angle and a great BG, I am not a big fan of the perch and the way it's broken but still a great shot.

Jim,
Beautiful subject, sharp, well exposed and outstanding background.
A very nice connection is made with the viewer through eye contact.
The image feels a little "tight" to me. Maybe a little more room, left, top and bottom only?
Do Blue Birds normally perch on one legs?

Lovely BG and colors....Would also like to see a touch more room above and below...Nice one Jim

I like the crop as it is Jim. There is not much environment to see in this image, so showing more of the bg would not seem to help - IMHO.
Nice pose, and I love the BG! I agree the broken off perch is not ideal. Do you have more room top and bottom to include the complete insect?
Jim, lovely soft light, and I really like the background. I agree with the others that the broken off perch is a bit unfortunate.
Cheers,
Greg Basco
Agree fully on the perch but perches are what they are. I bet I can still sell some :)
BG is OOF old and new growth of a swamp a fair distance behind the subject.
Yes the perch has been mentioned but it looks like the Bluebird is missing a leg.
Saw the bird again last evening and it does have both legs. I think it simply had one tucked up at the time.
