    I will shortly be visiting this birding spot to catch up on my pigeon images, and thought I would share one that I havent posted before.

    Great colors, nice BG and excellent detail!

    Wish the near wing was closer to fully up to eliminate/reduce shadow and show underwing detail.

    Stuart, I agree with Mike on the wing position but I really like the light, the sharpness, the background, and the comp. It's cool to see the green color on the pigeon's neck -- quite a handsome bird.

    Great BG and light...Didnt make Mankwe today, slept in this morning. Light was great wanted to go this afternoon but it was cloudy...Maybe we will see you this weekend

    Great example that we can show "common" species here also. At least I don't mind to see more good photos from Pigeons, Mallards, Seagulls etc.

    Nicely done Stuart. Superb sharpness, light and bg. Nice to see the iridescence on the neck.
    I don't might the shadow at all. TFS.
