    Grace:

It is going to take them a long time at that rate of material transportation!

Like the diagonal pose, nice spread of primaries and tail feathers, good exposure, bill just clear of wing.
Might try to lighten the shadows on the birds right wing a bit.

    Cheers

    Hello Grace,
You have captured a beautiful subject and an interesting behavior.
Exposed well and relatively sharp(tough to judge on such a small image). Is this much of a crop?
I'm a huge fan of diagonal banking birds, especially with feather detail like you've captured here.

IMO a horizontal crop with the Osprey flying into the negative space would make this even stronger.

Thanks, Randy and James. Yes, it was cropped to this composition, so room to play. I agree that horizontal would work as well.

Grace, Either comp would work, but as you have posted this, I would stay with it. Good diagonal banking angle, and well done for exposing the underwing detail. Yep, it will take a while to build a nest at that rate of collection, or maybe he's just finishing off.

Grace, nice job on the exposure. I agree with James about a horizontal composition to make this image even stronger.
