    About 90% of Full Frame

    Added some canvas at the top.

    Photographed a couple of weeks ago on the Bay side of Mustang Island State Park, just south of Port Aransas, TX.

    Lovely little tern species that I would love to photograph some day. I like the low angle and pose captured, nice details. Am a little undecided about the plants behind the tail, would love to see how this looks without them. Good shot in any case.

    Mike:

    I like the pose/angle in frame, that shows good detail in both wings, foot up,low shooting angle.

    I suspect the beach is sloping down here, but I wonder how it would look if you leveled the beach.

    Agree with Krijn about the vegetation.

    Excellent pose and good call in adding canvas above. I agree about the vegetation, but I like the sloping beach...especially that the area in focus along the feet looks level.
