    But this one doesn't need to be rescued, unless it is from my Pixel Bender oil derrick! But seriously, I threw the book at this one - Topaz Detail and Clean, then PB oil paint. Oh yeah, love that filter! It is probably the best reason to get CS5.

    I really like your effect here, especially on the feathers. very cool.
    For me, I think I would try a little less effect on the water and the upper beak. For some reason that area bothers me, but it's prob just me.

    Super cool, Kerry! The nice rich combination of filters applied really enhances that outrageous open bill pose. Very nicely done!

    Allen - Pixel Bender oil paint filter. Pixel Bender is a free Adobe image engine with lots of interesting effects. The oil paint filter was added in CS5 but you can also get PB for CS4.

    Thanks - I had bookmarked Pixel Bender plug-ins, but didn't think of it when you used "PB".
