    Default Flamingo and the Cormorants

    Wanted the capture the contrast between the two waterbirds .

    Camera :Nikon D200
    Lens :Nikkor 300 f4
    Shutters :1/750
    Focal Lenght :f 5.6
    Exp Comp :-1/3rd stop.
    Speed :ISO 160

    I love the Flamingos in here. Not crazy about the oof cormorants.

    I agree with Ofer here. The Flamingos are beautiful but the Cormorants are just a distraction when they are so far out of focus...I think you need a lot more DOf to get what I think you were after...

    Rakesh, good capture of all the flamingo's, all sharp and in focus. I feel if the cormorants were lower in the frame and not intersecting with the legs of the flamingo's, they would work being OOF.

    Very nice Rakesh. It looks like a parade for the cormorants' viewing pleasure :)
    Where was this image made, if I may ask? Would love to see a flamingo some day.

    A+ for trying something new but I am with Ofer here; the cormorants spoil a wonderfully sharp image of the flamingos. And Stuart is right about the merges. The ones in the back are fine...
