Since I havent been out much due to all our rains and overcast weather, here is another I dug out my archives. Im the first to admit he's already past me, but I just liked the wing position. I decided to leave the reflection in.

Awesome image , Stuart . Lovely on the expo. Dont mind that it is past you . If it were mine , I would have done away with the reflection though .

    Stuart:
    Impressive full forward wing position.

I would be torn about the reflection, but because you only have a bit, and you can't really tell how close the bird is to the water, I would be tempted to remove it.

If you had it all, would keep.

    Cheers

Love the wing position and colors. Sure, if you had caught him before he got past you it might have been a bonus, but then the wing position would have been different. Can't win. I sort of like the partial reflection since it shows him close to the water, but could go either way. Neater per the repost, I suppose.

    Hi Stuart,

Great wing position in this one. Love the curved primaries and irridescence captured on the wing. Lovely detail shows the head and eye patch clearly. I agree with Bill and quite liked the part wing reflection in the OP.

+1 without the reflection. Lovely shot, movement is apparent, a little past. Nice.
