    Default Barred owl in habitat

another BO image from yesterday, owl was attacked to this perch using Jim Neiger's call technique...light condition was poor but we managed a few nice habitat shots, courtesy of kissimmee Jimmie!

Arash, I like the attentive stare, and you have done well to bring out the detail. Good job with the high ISO too. I can also see a version by placing the tree on the far right of your comp.

lovely habitat image and the detail looks good considering ISO and weather condition.

Fantastic image design, Arash. Excellent perch, bird, bg, setting.
Your NR technique is simply impeccable! Great work.

Beautiful image, Arash. Love the matching colors of bird and perch in contrast to the lovely BG. Great detail for the high ISO. Agree with Stuart's suggestion for an alternate comp, although is stunning just as is.

Thanks guys, I prefer the comp as is because the short branch in the right balances the frame IMO.

    Thanks for comments.

Sweet shot, excellent, balanced comp and great detail on the owl despite size.
Can I ask you which noise reduction software you've used?

Thanks Ignacio, I use advanced NR which is a little bit involved to go over here, maybe I'll post something in the digital forum when I get a chance.
