    Hi Folks;

    This Black-headed Grosbeak was photographed at Madera Kubo B&B, Madera Canyon, AZ. under Sycamores beside a creek at 5500' using fill flash. Sketch was created using AKVIS & CS5 for finishing touches.

    CC's always welcome and very much appreciated as a learning tool.

    Warm hugs

    Gus

    Gus, I like this and I like the pose. I might try to evict the small clump on the perch near the tail if you could. This time I like the thin border.

    Very nice composition, Gus. I love the pose and effect. I am with Denise on evicting the clump.

    Hey Gus, Nice bird!! The stick-end was already mentioned, but should be an easy fix for you.

    I like the effect - it works well! The stick is perfectly sketched, and wonder how the image would look with it a little stronger on the bird.

    This is wonderful, Gus! Very attractive processing. Love the pose, colors and the subtle, tan BG is so AZ.

    Hi Folks;

    Thank you very much for all your kind comments. I attempted to address all your very expert ideas into this redo. Even making the sketch on the Grosbeak a mite stronger.

    Warm hugs

    Gus
