    Another nice one Jim. Good perch, BG, and pose. I like the basic but effective comp too. As posted the bill seems a bit bright with clipped yellows (I realize jpeg conversion can do that if it was already close).

    Excellent work! Great flash work, excellent sharpness and detail. I agree with Daniel regarding the beak - easy to fix.

    Jim, I like the diagonal perch, striking colours on this species, and overall, nice and sharp. Smooth BG too.

    Hi, Jim. Nice portrait of this guy, indeed. Fill-flash looks great, and I agree with Daniel that the simple comp works well here.
