    Default Northern Jacana

    Photographed in Costa Rica (Tortuguero) off of a small boat. Lighting was soft. I don't normally shoot wide open, but I was trying to maximize shutter speed due to the motion of the boat. Luckily, I got enough depth of field in this photo.



    Canon 1D Mark III, 500mm, f/4, 1/2000, ISO 800, no flash, monopod

    Thanks. It wasn't easy getting a clean look in decent light. I definitely got a little lucky on this one.

    Very nice. Love the setting. I find the one bright stem in the top right a bit distracting. SO you could clone that if you wanted to?
