    Default Female Screech Owl

Once again, I went back to visit the Screech Owl nest.
This time I saw both of them, this is the female, she was in the nest the entire time. Don't know much about them, maybe there are chicks. Will continue to monitor the nest. Got on top of the pickup truck to get eye level. Hope you like it!

Nicely framed in her nest, and I like the detail. Good attentive stare from her too.

Troy, loved the details in this one. Excellent sharpness on the bird. If mine, I'd sharpen the tree trunk as well. Compositionally, I think I will prefer the bird a tad left and tad above(but not by much) in the frame.

Making the effort to get eye level with nest paid off nicely Troy.
