This was taken in Costa Rica. I was happy to get this behaviour image. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

This is pretty amazing! I assume there aren't that many images of these birds mating! Congratulations!

OK, this image is guaranteed to make anyone smile! The toucan's natural 'amiable expression', coupled with the behaviour makes for a very striking image indeed!

Getting clear images in canopies may be challenging... The leafy bg shows their habitat nicely - it doesn't bother me, but some would advise cloning out the distracting twigs. I do believe cropping out the bottom (unoccupied) branch will improve the frame- it isn't adding anything to the shot.

In all, a lovely image - Thanks for sharing!

Very nice job Jim. Twigs don't bother me and and I like the composition as is. Do you think there is any chance to get some more details out of those blacks?

Hey Jim, to capture this species on its own would be an achievement, and now you go and show off with two. Comp works well, and you certainly did capture the 'behaviour'. An opportunity well used.

The BLACKs do not look bad from here. You may have been happy but likely not as happy as him :) I like the image for its uniqueness. Way to go!

Very nice and unusual. Excellent exposure, blacks look OK in my monitor.
Rainforest species are almost always found with a busy BG, twigs and leaves don't bother me here.
