    Took this at Fort De Soto after sunrise. Edited exposure in RAW and levels in PS.

    Camera: Canon 50D
    Focal length: 400mm
    F-stop: F/5.6
    Shutter Speed: 1/800
    Shooting mode: AV
    Exposure compensation: 0
    Metering Mode: Evaluative
    ISO: 100

    Hello Steven, I really like this one! Nice flight pose with the dorsal view, good head angle and exposure. Love that raised far wing and the detail on it. Always tough to get the eye on these guys and it might help here to lighten that area just a tad. Very nice job on the capture. You could have gone higher on the ISO for faster shutter speed, but you didn't need it in this one. I think just a bit more sharpening would bring out more of the detail that already there.

    Kerry thank you. On the re-post I lightened the eye area with Viveza and used smart sharpen a little more.

    Nice repost Steven although you might back off the sharpening on the second image just a tiny bit - it's almost "too" crisp.

    Lovely view and angle here. I like the position/crop within the frame as well. Nicely done!

    Steven, good job on the re-post! Just a tad less sharpening overall as Jules mentions but the eye looks much better. Well done!
