Very nice shot John, Love the colors and details on the duck, would like to see the background a wee bit lighter and more space in the front of the duck to show the path he is swiming to. also just a tad of canvas to the left of the frame also...

    Congrats...:D

    He John,
See if you like this version of your Wood Duck...:D I increased saturation just a tad, kicked the contrast just a little, lightened the back ground, and did just a slight amount of sharpening...:)

Gus good try but now it is over sat and over sharpened

the way I show it was about the way it was early in the morning with the warm soft light

Love It! No nits from me. Really like the water drop! This is my favorite of the ones you've shown.

I'd probably kick curves just a little bit up - other than that, nicely done.

I like the water drop and the color of the face and catchlight. I like the BG in the repost.

Very sharp image, a little dark in the back, but still a great one. Very nice detail with the droplet.

Lovely image John of a lovely duck!! Just a tad dark on my monitor and like the BG in the repost.
No doubt you have aimed to hold detail in the whites. In cases like this I select the whites (magic wand), inverse selection and adjust levels or curves to brighten rest of image without touching the whites.
