Dynamic pose, intense stare as mentioned. I am guessing this is a 3-4 year old based on plumage, but would appreciate yours or others input on age here.
The crop seems tight to me, and I would consider adding a moderate amount below and just a bit to the right.
A very powerful shot. Very well exposed. Seems a just a bit too tight for my taste. A bit more space on bottom right would add to it. Just my two cents.
I like the soft light and the pose and do not mind the SQ crop. Randy, you are right on the age. I cannot be any more specific. Great seeing you guys up there Steve.
