Lovely behaviour shot!! Excellent techs and awesome pose. If anything maybe blurring the BG just a bit.
Nice one, Troy! Great interaction and habitat.
Hi Troy,
The stones by the legs don't bother me at all - I didn't even noticed them. The oof vegetation behind the birds is more of an issue IMHO - nothing too serious though.
EDIT: here is what I had in mind. Also cropped off the top and bottom and added some canvas on the sides as I am a 2:3 freak....![]()

Nice image Troy - I like the interaction between the birds. I do somewhat agree with Ofer - the heads almost get lost in the loud green lines --> I am not sure I would blur the background more, but I might desaturate it a bit.
Looks like you found a sweet new spot Troy. Nice low angle.
Fantastic pose and nice eye catchlights in both laughing gulls. Very sweet.
This is a really cool looking species. Great job!

very nice behavioral shot Troy, Hope to meet you soon, get that 600 ready!

Hi Troy. Terrific interaction. Love the open bill and poses. I like Ofer's repost, both for the bg and the format. Nicely done.
This is a fine shot and Ofer's recomposition does it justice. The birds seem to be singing a duet. Much anthropomorphic appeal!

Thank you Craig.
