Thick-billed Weaver taken early in the morning. They build the most beautiful finely woven nests supported by a bullrush stem on either side.

Good pose and HA Pieter, and I like the light cast over the head and eye. If this were mine, I may be tempted to erase the OOF bullrush.

What a bill! I love how the colors coordinate. This one has a bit too much head turn.... Sharp with a good exposure and nice detail in the dark tones.
