    Hi Folks,

I see no Pelican photos from the last couple of days so here is one.

I pushed the shutter a fraction too early. If I would have waited a tad more, there would have been little separation between the bill and the wing ...

Taken in Fort Desoto, FL. Full frame, canvas added to top.

    EOS MK3 + 500/4 + 1.4TC II

    Manual 1/1250; + 0
    ISO 320
    Camera on tripod
    Distance 32.4m

    Cheers,

    Mikko

Having a little more seperation might have worked better but in looking at the image i believe the line of lighter wing feathers below the bill creates good separation as presented.

I think i would have liked a little more room on the bottom but that is just personal taste.

Good flying posture and angle Mikko, and I like the overall detail and colours of the Pelican. I agree moving him up in the frame will work, and I do like the hint of clouds in the BG.

Hi Miko , like the lazy flying posture, good eye contact and detail. I might consider a little more room in front of the bird.

I like the wing position and I also agree about having more room at the bottom...just personal taste though.
