Lovely and fluffy. Sharp with a good head angle and a nice BKGR. A bit too light overall for me, especially the highlights. With the bird looking to our right a crop from the left would tighten this up nicley.

Really cute pose, with good eye contact and nice sharpness. I like the idea of cropping slightly from the left.

    Fluffy indeed!

Nice catch with the raised crest and fluffed breast feathers.

I might try and smooth out the one specular BG highlight if it were mine, but it's not really bothersome.

I third loosing a little on the left.

I like the fluffy look with good detail and as mentioned great HA and eye contact. Also would like the bird a little less centered with a crop from the left.

Thank you...this is almost full frame and didn't have much to work with because of the way I crop my images (11X14 print). I didn't want to add any canvas to the right because of the perch and felt if I moved it over to the left it would fill the frame too much. Here's a repost with the suggestions...curves, added +2 of the neutral in the selective color menu and did some burning of the chest feathers.
