First return in over 10 years

Hi Folks;

This Northern Cardinal returned to our garden after being away in over 10 years. 2 other firsts ever today were the Black-headed Grosbeak & the Sharp-shinned Hawk. Also a couple of other smaller species. Only one missing is the Hummingbirds.

great energy in this pose! really like how you adjusted the image. But the bright lower background keep distracting my eye from the gorgeous cardinal.

Hi Folks;

Wee bit difficult to subtley darken the bright parts artisticly, however, like Cheryl I agree & with some judicous QM and light erasing I came up with this.
