Hello everyone. Captured this coot while shooting some ring-necked ducks. I guess it wanted its picture taken too. Hope you enjoy. C&C welcomed and encouraged.

Well captured. I love the red eyes on these guys. Tough to expose properly to keep details in the blacks without blowing out the white bill, but it seems you've done it nicely here. I might be tempted to tone down the shine on the breast.
Nice pose, with good sharpness and black detail. I keep thinking some CCW rotation would help. I like Bill's idea about toning down the highlights on the breast.
Great job on the bill tonality and the frontal shield. I would take the time to eliminate all of those glaring specular highlights. This image is worth it!

Ditto to working on those highlights, and I agree with some CW rotation (I'm sure that's what Doug meant). I would also crop below up to where the darker part of the reflection ends. Great image overall though...nice low angle and great colours on the bill and shield.
