Coopers Hawk on a rock

Walking down a stream I noticed something on a rock at the stream edge near a group of ducks, it turned out to be a Coopers Hawk down by the water for a mid morning bath.

What a nice opportunity! Sharp bird in good light with a good head angle. You don't often see these guys out in the open like this.
