This seemed to take on a more interesting, abstract quality when I rotated it. Crop, PP, PB oil, softened by reducing detail with Topaz Detail.

Hi Brendan, this is a really interesting image and I like the idea you had here. Love the Topaz filter work. I'm not sure about the crop on this one though, it feels a little out of balance. I think it would be worth trying a crop that lets the above-water reeds come over to the right a little. Let's see what others think...

Brendan, I really like the abstract look of this and your Out Of the Box thinking with the comp. I might tighten it up a bit if it were mine. Nice work with the filtering.

Hey, Brendan, this would be great for next week's "Different Perspective" theme. I like the abstract look a lot.

Hi Brendan, nice filtering and creative crop. I like the effect, but for some reason I want the reeds to be pointing down to the lower right with the reflection pointing up to the left corner. Nice work!

Brendan, I like this abstract composition - very much OOTB thinking! Nice colors and effect of the filter. Nicely done.

Thanks folks, I was flipping & cropping this thing all different kind of ways, and it was both fun and frustrating to try and figure it out. Really don't think there is any definitive solution, but decided to go with tighter crop as Denise suggested and flip Andrew recommended.
