    Here's a red head calling. Nikon D300s 400mm f2.8 iso 320 1/1600 @f5.0 induro tripod
    Post- some cropping 0ff the top adjusted curves and sharpend
    comments welcome.

    Nice to capture him in a calling pose, they usually have their neck tucked in.
    Nice colors, BG, well exposed.

    Wish the light angle had been just a bit more behind you so the back of the head wasn't quite so heavily shadowed.

    Might be able to very lightly bring those shadows up a bit.

    From KBS? When? through the fence?

    This is from KBS about 2 weeks ago and it was through the fence. it's a little limiting but the lower angle is a nice trade off.

    Sharp with a neat pose. Too tight in the frame and the light from the right is problematic. As is the dark line in the BKGR that goes through the bird's head.
