    Image comes from the southwest coast of Norway. Data: Canon 1D MK III, 500mmL F4, 0 IS, ISO 100, 1 / 500 F 4.50. Date: 11 October 2008

    This is a beautiful bird. The image is sharp. I like the raised foot and the water droplets. With the bird's body angled towards us it would have been better to have had the head turned towards you a bit more. I believe that the whole image could go a bit lighter.

    What month? Is this a juvenile?

    Thanks for the feedback. I have learned a lot on the little moment I have been here. Picture taken in October, and the bird is a juvenile

    Silky smooth. The drops and subtle water pattern is really good.
