With a perfect head angle and the nice soft light and a beautiful molting adult shorebird you know that I love this one. And sharp too with an excellent EXP. I'd love to see a version with the mid-tones a bit darker and perhaps a tad more saturated.

Beautiful Mike! I love the way the water blends into the background. Nice pose and sharp details.

A really lovely pose and very well exposed.

I really like the hint of water and everything else fading away.

    Very well done.

I can almost feel the smooth texture of that bill! Just awesome. And the subtle reflection grounds the image since the background just melts away, very nice. The discoloration on the lower portion of the frame especially on the lower left, is a bit distracting for me. I'd love for the white to come all the way to the bottom of the frame. I bet you were nice and dirty after this shoot! Thanks for sharing.
