    Here's another one from my recent Costa Rica workshop. This was a BIG target bird for me. But you never know if they will be reliable or not. If there is a flowering tree in the area then forget it...they will be way up high. Thankfully this liitle fellow was regularly visiting this verbena bush and I was able to get a few frames that I am very happy with :)

    From your description it seems the encounter with the hummer was impromptu. But the BG is so rich, so green, so perfect, I've got to wonder whether it's not a poster. I'm fine either way. The iridescent feathers are very well-exposed. They look real enough to stroke.

    I love this Glenn!! The natural light is fantastic! IQ doesn't look great in this small version - probably because of the way the 7D handles the iso 800.
