Nice! I like the perch, awesome BG, and of course the colours. For me the exposure on the subject itself could go just a tad brighter, and I would add a bit of canvas above. I'm OK with the HA in this case even if it is not parallel to the sensor. Well done Haim!!

This is a beautiful shot Haim... Sharp as a tack and perfectly framed IMHO. I also love the complimentry colours and the seperation from the background. I thought the eye area might be a touch lighter, so I had a quick play in PS and now I am not so sure...

    Well done

Gorgeous bird and love the back side view, perch, and BG!

Also think bird could go a bit lighter and I would prefer a bit more of a head turn with this look back pose.

Haim, this is a beautiful photo. It has a unique feel to it, like Christopher stated, "like a painting", almost an HDR feel. It seems to have a texture to the bird's feathers and I like it. Was there anything in the processing that you did special to this image?

    Thank you very much Tom.
Well, as always it's starting with camera RAW and nothing special in the processing.

Love the perch and the nice color. I would probably brighten the bird a little, and I'd trim a bit of canvas off the bottom and add some up top.

Haim a wonderful image with stunning colors. Because of the long axis of the bird being vertical I wonder if a vertical crop would not work better. It may be my monitor but I get the impression that there is some loss of detail in the black eye band.
