    wow... this is outstanding, Cheryl! Love the sense of circular motion combined with blur effect on the palmetto leaf blades. Excellent work.

    Cheryl, Very nice circular motion with this blur mixed with radiating straight lines - very creative. I also like the hint of purple swirls interspersed. My eye gets pulled to the thicker bright areas in the upper-left, which I wish weren't so strong.

    Really like the effect of the circular motion you created with this, Cheryl. The composition has a lot of very interesting elements that keep the eye exploring. The light purple curls remind me of smoke. I see what Scott means regarding the brighter area, maybe just toning it down a bit would make an even stronger comp. Very nice!

    Cheryl, Really nice effect created with the camera movement. I agree w/ Scott regarding the ULC, sweet blur!!

    Scott, Brendan and Denise - thanks for your comments I was being very literal with the straight out of the camera theme and although on my computer that area wasn't blown out I would have liked to have toned that area down. Here's a repost with what I would have done. Hopefully it improves the image.

    Cheryl: Wonderful image! Excellent and creative work. Those swirls are mesmerizing--gets me wondering what they are. Beautifully composed.
