    Default Speeding Mallard

Shot this a little while ago during the winter months - wait we had snow this week I thought it was spring! I have been sitting on the fence with my finger hovering over the delete key for this one. Still can't decide so here it is. While shooting waterfowl at Humber Bay in Toronto a Mallard drake went speeding by and this is what I got. Not much detail just a lot of blur. I cropped it to a slight pano look - hope that was okay for this theme.

    Look forward to comments.

Andrew, Personally I would delete it. There's just enough detail in the duck for it to work for me. I don't think it's because of the amount of motion blur so much as the fact that the duck is OOF. Just my opinion.

Andrew, I think this one could go either way. Some folks don't care for the completely OOF images. I think the form and color are very nice in this one.

Just starting out with blurs, I'm not the best judge, but I am wanting to see just a bit more detail in the Mallard. BTW, congrats Andrew, on your podium finish in Denise's photo blur contest, that was a great blur of the palm frond you did!

Thanks for the comments Denise, Christopher and Brendan. I appreciate them very much.

Brendan thanks also for the kind words on the palm frond.
