    Hey Carel,
Very nicely done! I like the BG......but may run NR on the BG......just to smooth it out some more as the damsel and perch are fantastic! Very well done overall!

Wow, another beauty, Carel. Nice looking damselfly, great colors, diagonal line, nice exposure and even light. Looks like you had both fly and plant perfectly parallel to the focal plane, because they are both nice and sharp. Soft tan BG works well too. Very minor, there is a tiny hair or fiber 2/3 down the wing which you
may want to remove. Congrats on an excellent composition, Very well done!

Beautifully done! Roman and Brendan have already said it all, so I'll just close with: Congratulations!

Hi Carel. I agree with the others - this is an excellent image! Very nice light, good colors, excellent sharpness throughout, a clean background, and the slight diagonal of the stem is a plus. You might consider a little tighter crop - taking some from both left and right, but that is subjective. Very well done.

Hi Carel, I completely agree with the comments made by everyone else including the one by Steve about cropping in tighter.....you'll hear that a lot in this forum.

    Well done!
