    beautiful bird.

    Nice catchlight & HA. I love the way you have included the surrounding in here but may but that log of wood seems just too big for a bird of this size. Just my two cents, otherwise a great shot.

    Subject looks great , but I too feel the perch is a bit over-powering. Perhaps as a horizontal with the bottom cropped to eliminate the big log and add some canvas on the right to move the subject off center. The bird and the setting are so good that I feel the extra work would be well worth it.

    I agree with Joe on this - a great little subject and technical excellent image, but the perch is pretty overpowering. I live the falling falls of snow at the bottom of the image.
