    Hi Folks;

    This is new to me. "PostworkShop" - 11 different actions to paint this. Looking for your ideas and suggestions so I can make a redo to please most of us. If we end up with something that resembles a painting that is pleasing to the majority, I will set out my step by step that includes layers similar to photoshop. Please don't be shy.

    Photo of Squirrel on Sycamore tree was taken at Madera Kubo B&B, Madera Canyon, AZ

    Gus, I think it looks good. The blurry smudge by the suirrels eye is a little distracting and I might evict the grey outline on the squirrels hind leg. I like the random brush strokes in the background and the pose and composition.

    I like this Gus. Very interesting effect and a cute subject. Looks like there's some bleeding of grey around the squirrel that is a bit distracting. I think you achieved your objective - very nice.

    Hi Folks;

    After all the work envolved compared to Fotosketcher, which IMHO does what I want, I'm putting PostworkShop on the back burner for awhile. They have a free version, however, I used their top program.

    Take a look at my favorite with actual color of Squirrel.

    Yeah! free Fotosketcher.

    Warm regards

    Gus

    Gus, I'm with you on preferring the Fotosketcher version, which BTW looks wonderful , but I think the PostworkShop version has potential too. I like the sketchy look of it, though I think I would prefer a little more detail particularly in the squirrel and more natural colors.
