    This was a very responsive bird to calls but he wouldn't take any perches that gave me a non-sky background but the singing pose works for me.

    Nikon D7000 AFS 600 F4
    ISO 800 F8 1/2000

    I like the singing pose, HA, details and sharpness. Nice image James!

    Yep, you timed the open beak nicely. Good HA, and I like the colours on him. I would maybe remove the foliage LLC.

    Excellent capture, Jim. I like the sky BG - these guys seem to spend most of their time in the shadows, so to get one out in the open is a major accomplishment!. Agree with Stuart above removing the foliage in the LLC.

    Great singing pose and image James. Nice detail in the blacks and great eye contact.

    The bird looks great with a nice singing pose and excellent sharpness and eye contact. I like the idea of removing the vegetation in the LLC.
