    Default Avocets mating

Another shot from two weeks ago. Taken in low light. Wish the shoreline was not intersecting with the upper bird but there was no other angle

Excellent capture and timing,Arash. I like the posture of the top bird and the droplets on the beak of the lower bird.Would remove the spot on the underwing and between the legs.

You're having a field day with those Avocets. Nice behavior shot. Even though you've got that dark line, it's not a big deal; it would have been a different story if the line was going through the male's head. I like the water droplets.

Arash, stunning shot IMO. everything is awesome. Like Doug, I also dont mind the position of the shoreline. It is intersecting above the head.

Those claws of the male sure seem dug in for stability. Lovely soft light, and the colours look good on the avocets. An opportunity well used.
