    Another image from last summer made at the Tern colony I posted a similar image last year when this was made.

    40D, 500 f/4, 1/1600 at f/5.6, Manual Mode, ISO 400, Raw, Tripod, Cropped and cloned out part of another tern.

    Nice tender moment capture. I like how the DOF has created a dreamy feel. I would lop some off the left. Wish the adults eye was more visible or had a catch light.

    Don, Lovely interaction captured so nicely. I like the low angle and the band of blue at the top. I'm looking forward to this years Tern activity up here.

    This is a first rate image. Love the raised foot and wing of the chick. The behavior is great, and I love the environmental and dreamy feel here. I would crop some off the left b/c I don't think it adds anything to the image, and I feel it would better showcase your subjects.
