Cormorant
This weekend we had the coldest eastern I can remember. We woke up with snow. So what a better start you can have than get out in the boat and take some nice photographs. This shot is typical for today. It's a cormorant with spring in mind while flying in the snow.

The eye sharpness is great and the nesting material is a big plus as is the snow!!
I would run a very mild S-curve to bring out the contrast just a little, the image looks slightly flat.

Good exposure control and the nesting material adds to it. It really looks cold. I might crop a bit off the top.
