    Default THEME: Extreme Close-up - Graylag Goose Eye

    Canon 7D, EF70-200 f/4 IS + 1.4xIII (268mm), 1/640 @ f5.6. ISO 400. LR3 Raw conversion, CS5 Sharpening, Levels. Overcast, 11:30am. Goose may have been domesticated; not at all wary. But was free with a dozen or so others in a flooded park...

    Fantastic detail on the feathers around the eye, but the eye itself looks odd...like it has a thin coating of glaze on it, even soft. Did you do anything to it in post, or was it this way originally?

    I see what you are referring to... The higher resolution image I have doesn't show that. Its seems to have appeared when reducing it to get under the 200kb limit. Any suggestion on what to do different?
