Default O What a Beautiful Morning

I took this last fall. The sun was coming up and casting these beautiful light rays. I used two of my textures as well as one texture from Shadowhouse. I also added an orton effect and a blur overlay to soften the image a bit. Comments and suggestions would be most appreciated.

Hi Christopher, this is very nice. I love the vertical comp, the tones and the rays of sunlight as well as the aged textured effects. Beautifully done!

This is one of my favorites of yours! I love everything about it including the color and texture. Beautiful composition too.

Beautiful composition, Christopher. I love the perspective and those sun rays. The texture just takes it to another level.

    Christopher,

This is simply beautiful. The composition and textures work well together. Well done.

One very minor observation... you have some artifacts just up from the base of the middle tree, possibly part of the texture overlay or maybe these are areas where the light is shining through. In this small rendition they almost look like scratches and seem out of place with the rest of the composition.

Christopher, I like the soft dreamy look to this. The subtle color toning and texture overlay are lovely. I do see what Richard is talking about.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Much appreciated!

Richard, those spots you mention are actually water drops on the tree branches shining in the sunlight. I see your point on them looking a little out of place, so I'll try cloning them out.

This is definitely up there with your best, Christopher. I really like the perspective of this image and how you enhanced it with just the right amount of texturing. I does have a dream like quality to it. Well done!
